It starts with the pick up from the lodgings in the city of Cusco (historic center), if your lodgings are located in another area we can coordinate a meeting point. We head towards Ollantaytambo, the journey time is 1 hour 45 minutes approx. 06:00 a.m. We board the train to Machu Picchu the time is approximately 1 hour with 45 minutes. The guide in charge will be waiting at the Main Square of Aguas Calientes to provide explanations about bus tickets, tickets to Machu Picchu and the tour to Machu Picchu. You have free time in Aguas Calientes before boarding the bus, for breakfast or other activities. Once regrouped, the staff on duty will drive us to the station to climb up to the Archaeological Park of Machu Picchu, the journey time is approximately 35 minutes. 10:00 a.m. entrance to Machu Picchu. The guided tour will be for 2 hours, making the tour through the main points such as: the main square, urban area, the circular tower, the sundial, the Inca cemetery, etc. Given an hour we boarded the return bus from Machu Picchu to the town of Aguas Calientes.
